Aircraft Suspension

For many years Borley Brothers has been involved with aircraft suspension for museums around the world including the Imperial War Museum, Duxford and the Royal Saudi Arabian Air Force Museum, Riyadh.

In addition to the actual suspension operation, Borley Brothers is often responsible for the manufacture and testing of the aircraft harness system. This aspect of the suspension process is often overlooked when the aircraft is in the final position. In many cases the harness manufacture and testing process is more technically demanding and time consuming than the actual suspension operation. The following images give an indication of some of our more recent projects.
